Follow the Path to Fruitfullness

Genesis 1:28 says, "and God blessed them and said, be fruitful and multiply"....God's will and plan for us is to be fruitful, to multiply, expand, increase, to prosper.

If that is God's will and plan for us, then we should embrace it and do what is required for us to live out his will.

Wait a moment, someone may say, "I thought if something is God's will and plan, it would just automatically happen." No, that's not the way it works. We must cooperate with God and follow 

His instructions.

* To be fruitful in our faith walk, we must hear, and study the word, then do what it says. Romans 10:17; 2 Timothy 2:15; James 1:22

* To be fruitful in our friendships, we must show ourselves friendly. Proverbs 18:24

* To be fruitful with our family, we must serve the Lord, spend time with them and teach the word, will and ways of God to our children at home. Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Joshua 24:15

* To be fruitful in our finances, we must pay our tithes (10%) and give our offering. Malachi 3:8-11; Luke 6:38; 2 Corinthians 9:6-8

* We are told to bless the priest or servant of God that He has set over us, and who minister and teach us the things of God. Matthew 10:41; Luke 10:7; Galatians 6:6

* Give to help and provide for the poor, widow, fatherless and stranger. Deuteronomy 15:7-11; Psalm 112:9; Proverbs 19:17; Proverbs 22:9; Proverbs 28:27; Mark 10:21; 2 Corinthians 9:9, 10; James 1:27

There are a few more instructions and as we do these things consistently we will see the fruit of our labors. Blessed is the man that walk not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the way of sinners nor sit in the seat of the scornful. But His delight is in the law of the Lord; and in His law he meditates day and night. And he shall be like a tree who is planted by the rivers of (living) water, that bring forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he do will prosper. Psalms 1:1~3
