Bishop Altheresa and her husband Bishop Eddie are the Pastors of The Master’s Ministry of Freedom Empowerment Center, (a multi-racial, multi dimensional ministry) in Lancaster, S.C., and Oversee a Church in Jamaica. Their mission and mandate from God is to be about the Father’s Business and the Master’s Work. To reach the lost, help those in need, equip the Body, teach the youth, pray and train laborers to reap the harvest.
Bishop Altheresa is the former # 1 Gospel Radio Host, heard on the 100 thousand watts Urban Station, WPEG, Power 98 FM, every Sunday Morning from 6am until 12 on Sunday Morning Inspirations.
Bishop Altheresa Goode Howard is the author of the books, “How bad do you want to be blessed?” “Great Faith,” “Devil, I’m not for sale,” and “How to pray effectively?” And there are many more to come.
She has been in Ministry since 1984, (age 20). She travels extensively preaching and teaching the word of God and seeing God demonstrate His word with signs following.

For 11 years, Altheresa was at the #1, twenty four hour Gospel Station, in the Charlotte, N. C. area, “The Light, AM 1600 WGIV, The Gospel Voice of Charlotte.” She hosted the #1 Gospel Morning Show and was the Assistant Program Director (responsible for the day to day Gospel Music Programming). She also produced and programmed the music for the Sunday Morning Gospel Show on Power 98 FM.
In December 2003, after WGIV closed down, Altheresa became the Network Operations Manager for the Rejoice Network, under the leadership of Frank and Emma Neely, and Frankie Hemphill. In addition, her daily broadcast was syndicated and she was heard Monday through Friday from 7am-10am on WLTC 1370AM (Charlotte/Gastonia/Rock Hill Area), WGCD 1490AM (Chester, S.C.), and WAAW 94.7 (Aiken, S.C./Augusta, Ga), and on the internet at www.rejoicenetwork.com.
She founded The International Association of Ministry Gifts, an Association to encourage, support, and equips those who are called to serve Jesus in every aspect of ministry.
She’s an Intercessor and former National Director of Intercession for the National Association of Women in Ministry.
